2012 March for Life Highlights
Couples for Christ was at the forefront of yesterday’s March for Life in Ottawa. Pro-lifers from all over Canada and from the US came out in great numbers to make their voices heard and make a stand towards respect for life and for an end to abortion. The 2012 Couples for Christ – Gift of Life Conference held last Saturday, April 21, at the Canada Christian Colleges was a huge success. Advent is here, which means Christmas is just a few weeks away. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia on NewAdvent.org, the word “Advent” finds its roots in the Latin word ad-venio, which means “to come to.” This is exactly what we do at Advent — we prepare ourselves “to come to” our Lord Jesus, born in a manger on Christmas.
